Chess on the Dot is a chess variant invented by Joshua Chao in 2010, which uses a total sphere (not a sphere-like cylinder) as chessboard with standard rules of chess. The digital version of “Chess on the Dot” won red dot design award (Germany) in 2010.
All rules of chess can be applied to Dot without change because the surface of Dot is essentially a 2-dimensional membrane (without borders), and all squares on it can be displayed as a 2-dimensional, flat and rectangular chart with correct relative positions.
Dot is transmogrified from the traditional, flat chessboard by the following three steps:
1) Connect east and west borders.
2) Cover north and south ends.
3) Squeeze and bulk it up to a sphere.
All rules of “Chess on the Dot” are exactly the same to standard rules of chess. Search more at:

After a long-fought battle in Australia, a python bested a crocodile and swallowed the reptile whole over a span of several hours in Queensland, Australia.
The snake reportedly fought the croc for five hours in Lake Moondarra. Winning the fight, the python constricted its prey to death. The estimated 10-foot snake then dragged the 3-foot croc ashore and proceeded to swallow it whole in front of a group of onlookers.
National Geographic identified the snake as an olive python and the croc as a Johnson’s crocodile, both of which are native to Australia. After its hefty meal, the python should be full for at least a month.

Actually, when I think about it, the largest effort I make to be creative is to take something someone else has already made(not a story or character, because that’s hard and also possibly stealing?), and use it in an unconventional way. That’s me, standing on the shoulders of giants.
It bothers me that I have all these wonderful ideas I want to implement, draw, write, ect. and whenever I decide to start them, I just End up going “Nah.”
